Learn to make your own porcelain jewelry! In this two week class, you will learn how shape and decorate your own porcelain earrings and/or pendants. The first week will introduce you to the properties of porcelain clay and techniques for shaping and cutting the clay for your jewelry. In the second week you will learn various glazing techniques to add color and decorations to your jewelry. 

What you’ll create: 

Under the guidance of the instructor you will have the opportunity to create several pairs of earrings and/or brooches.

What’s provided:

• High-quality clay and necessary tools for the class.

• Glazes

• Findings (ear hooks, etc) for your jewelry

What to bring:

• Enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty!

• Ideas for jewelry that you may like to create (Pinterest is a great resource to find ideas!)

• An apron if you’re concerned about having clay on your clothing. (The clay will wash out but you might get a bit dirty.) 

Who Can Attend:

This class is open to all skill levels—perfect for beginners and individuals wanting to try this fun experience. Open to ages 7 and up.

Take-Home:

Your completed piece(s) will be collected for firing and glazing, ready for you to pick up at a later specified date.
